LONG BEACH, Calif–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Thunder Studios Capital Management, an in-house capital management division arising from a joint venture between Thunder Studios, Inc. and Struans Media, Inc., has attached $4 million in funding for the P&A of the independent film Nine Eleven. The film, currently in production at Thunder Studios, stars Charlie Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg, Luis Guzman, Wood Harris and Olga Fonda.
Thunder Studios formed a joint venture with Struans Media to support the studio’s existing business units and provide additional capital for the Thunder Studios family of companies, as well as oversee all strategic side-by-side capital relationships and investor relations. Struans Media manages the division. The new capital commitments include support for P&A of specific projects in development at Thunder Studios, as well as co-productions, film acquisitions, traditional and digital content production, mezzanine and gap capital, and acquisition capital for strategic business alliances.
Thunder Studios is a vertically integrated, full-service production studio in Los Angeles that empowers creators across commercial, traditional and digital platforms. The studio sits on more than 200,000 square feet of space and houses 20 production stages.
